📝 Sat Here, I Sit Here

Dear Greats,

Sat here, I sit here.

Trump got shot. How interesting. I sit here. Democracy, democracy. I sit here.

A world in motion, with little to no lotion. Bring back the love, the labours of love. 

The system, the system! Sat here, I sit here. Inflation, inflation.

I watch people walk by, seeking, searching, they need satisfaction, not now, but soon!

They have all they need, yet never have they been more unhappy! Struggle, struggle, give them struggle! Or else perspective.

They look forward to not being in the present, yet in the present is where they will always be.

How strange. Sat here, I sit here.

I look to my left, they speak of the cost of living crisis, of prices and housing, of then and now.

I look to my right and they fight for scraps of food and sell their daughters for less than a dime.

The left see their problems as huge as they are no longer focused on merely surviving.

I look inbetween where the devil lays siege, where they don’t need but want. Where they abandon morality in search of a preferred mortality.

For what good is goodness if goodness is killed they say… I think you are missing the point of goodness my friend.

Kill the infidels! Yells the entire world, no one quite sure who is who. You are the infidel to the infidel in mind.

The haves and have nots fight to be heard.

How big is your stick to swipe them away? One wipe and they’re gone - well 99%.

You see humans and bacteria, what difference in truth.

They exist and have rights, rights? Rights? Not everyone surely? Granted by whom? By God not God. By people, by me? HA.

I confess, I feel lucky, for I know, we are blessed.
