📝 Faith or Fear?

Dear Greats,

When contemplating risk, many experience fear, fear of failure, fear of uncertainty, fear of losing - risk is scary to many.

Yet, those who achieve anything of note, have certainly taken risks.

Risk and reward are intertwined. Whilst most businesses fail, most entrepreneurs do not. You may lose many battles but still win the war.

Resilience and perseverance then are prerequisites to those who are to reap the rewards of the risks they choose to take. If you are half committed you are doomed to fail, for when you fall one time too many, you will not rise again.

Loss aversion is a human trait, we would rather reduce the downside than increase the upside. Your rational mind may keep you from taking risks, it is only through faith, intuition and desire to achieve that you may choose the route of risk.

Faith increases risk taking, for the faithful have less fear. Intuition increases perceived risk taking as your gut may overrule your mind. Desire increases risk taking as you may strive for more than you currently have.

My message to you is this. Your life is your own, you may live it as you wish. There is no right nor wrong, there is only truth and lies, be sure to see what is what, for to deceive yourself is an act of cowardice.

Take some risks and be surprised.

Myths will be created around you as you achieve feats the masses cannot comprehend - These myths are told so they may nurse themselves, for "it was power beyond you that gave you your success!”. In reality we are all capable, it is just that some take risks, whilst others choose a life of certain comfort and mediocrity, for that to them sounds better than the potentiality of harm or failure.

Just remember, your time in this world is finite, do with it what you will, the end is all the same, in truth, there is not much to lose except your life, and you will lose that either way.

Choose the path you know to be, the one where God speaks loudest.
